Brown University Auxiliary Housing

Rental units will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis with priority given to first-year graduate students. All other applicants will be added to the waitlist and will be offered any available housing beginning May 6, 2024.

Rental agreement periods are for 12 months with no exceptions. Apartment assignments are made without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, or sexual orientation.

Applicants will be notified of their housing assignment (via the email address provided) within ten (10) days of submitting this application. If you don't receive a housing assignment offer within 10 days, there is no availability. You'll be placed on a waitlist and notified should a cancellation arise. To accept the housing assignment, email your decision within five (5) days of the offer. Once your acceptance is received, your student Banner account will be charged the required $500 security deposit and a Brown University Occupancy Rental agreement will be emailed to you. The Rental agreement must be returned by the stated deadline. If the rental agreement is not returned by that date, the offer will be retracted.

PROHIBITED: Subletting, smoking /vaping, and pets (except service animals or emotional support animals registered through SAS)
